Hospitals in Gaya
Currently Gaya has about 7 government hospitals, while rest are mostly private hospitals. And amongst all these the most trusted and advanced hospital is A N Magadh Medical College and Hospital, which is actually one of the biggest government hospitals in entire South Bihar. It has 18 special departments and boosts state-of-the-art-technology that probably no other hospital of Gaya district boosts.
In addition to these hospitals, there are also government run primary health centers and sub health centers in those towns and villages where there are no clinics and hospitals available. Currently there are 24 primary health centers and 439 sub health centers throughout Gaya District. Gaya surely doesn’t have a very robust infrastructure for emergency services. Currently there are very handful of blood banks and eye banks in entire Gaya. However, comparatively there is decent presence of ambulance services in the region.
